The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for top-notch support to AutomateNOW!’s global customers for its industry-leading workload automation platform.

    Application Support Specialist

    Location: Makati

    Region: Metro Manila

    What you’ll do:

    The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for top-notch support to AutomateNOW!’s global customers for its industry-leading workload automation platform. Successful candidates will participate in a 24×7 support operations interfacing with enterprise clients across the globe. The CSE may also be called on to participate in automation consulting with customers, knowledge management as well as Product testing.

    Who you are:

    An experienced L2-L3 engineer, application support analyst/consultant, IT operations engineer with strong data background

    What you have:

    • Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting
    • Knowledge of Relational DBMS such as Oracle, Postgres, DB2, etc.
    • Knowledge of Java/Groovy or any object-oriented programming language
    • An understanding of web applications and services (preferably Tomcat)
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
    • Experience in a customer-facing technical role
    • A self-starter – can work and learn independently
    • A knack for problem solving and creative thinking
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or any related course. Graduates of other programs with needed skills are also welcome!
    • 4-5 years of experience

    Good to have:

    • Knowledge or experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica Power Center, Data Stage, SAS DI or any other
    • Knowledge of Systems administration and IT infrastructure services (OS, network, cloud, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Enterprise IT architecture, data, or application integration
    • Experience in enterprise automation such as scheduling/workload automation, RPA, release automation, etc.
    • Product testing knowledge/experience
    • ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

    Salary: 60,000 – 80,000 basic monthly + allowances + HMO + insurance
